I need people to stop calling the white supremacists and QAnon mentally ill. Yes, some may be. Most likely though, many are narcissistic bullies who feel "special" because they think they've found correlation in coincidences.
Patients with psychosis or delusions can mostly accept reality based feedback and adjust accordingly.
Eg. No, that's not the blood of Jesus in the dumpster. Why would Jesus's blood be in the dumpster? It's probably just red juice or another item or liquid.

Many times that alone will allow a patient to recognize the delusion. I've had patients say, "damn...that does sound crazy huh?" They just needed feedback to recognize.
White supremacist/Conspiracy theorists are not the same. It's insulting to humans iwith mental illness.

It ADDS to the stigma. My patients aren't conspiracy theorists. They aren't dangerous. They are humans fighting a disease...and comparing them to white supremacists/nazis/QAnon quacks is not okay.
