One thing worth mentioning again, there is a deadline of 2 PM PT each day to activate someone off of the taxi squad.

As of now, the Ducks have a 20 man roster so if someone got hurt in warmups and no one was activated off of the taxi squad the Ducks would be playing shorthanded

This is why I expect to see a taxi squad shuffle between game days and non game days. Use 6 man taxi and 20 man roster on non gamedays to minimize cap hit and then a 4 man taxi and 22 man roster on gamedays to provide extra players.

This is why I said earlier I expect Comtois and one of Welinski or Curran to be activated off the taxi squad today.
