In Obama's book there was a line about how he thought McConnell dealt with Biden "better" because Biden was white.

Let's see how playing into the expectations of white supremacy works for our Democratic Party.

"I see you're having problems passing legislation. Have you tried agreeing with white supremacy?" is the "I see you're overwhelmed. Have you tried yoga?" of Democratic strategy.

In case you thought white supremacy was just a Republican project, it's not. Dems just don't hold rallies about it. They stand at lecterns and they call it "unity"

There are a whole bunch of powerful older Democrats in the consulting class who are incredibly stupid and think the reason Obama failed with Republicans is that Obama was Black.

They don't realize Republicans are just *like this* and have been since Newt's takeover in 1994.
