Have watched the first 3 eps of #WandaVision - and the first MCU is a weirdly perfect mashup of conventional retro sitcom & intriguing mystery. Or as Agnes puts it, it’s “a gas”
Each ep has a unique intro and tone that embraces diff decades of pop tv - ep 1 is basically an episode of The Dick Van Dyke show, but if produced by Marvel and starring two overpowered superheroes.
‘WandaVision’ totally goes all in with the sitcom shtick - giving the show a totally different look/feel from ep to ep. And it’s a lot of fun to watch ‘Viz’ & Wanda get themselves out of some silly sitcom plots.
The MCU movies didn’t give the Wanda/Vision relationship a lot of screen time, which was a shame. #WandaVision is allowed the time to spend a lot of time with these two characters and see their dynamic.
While #WandaVision is a delightful fun - there’s a mysterious & menacing undertone to everything. Something is clearly ... off or fractured. It’s worth remembering that the Scarlet Witch is among the very most powerful characters in the MCU ...

Can’t wait for ep 4!
#WandaVision premieres on #DisneyPlus tmrw - the first two episodes of the 9 ep season drop on 1/15 and ep 3 drops on 1/22. First three eps are roughly 30 mins each.
