I have been waiting to see if Rempel would come out and apologise for her stupid decision to join Parler. As predicted, she didn't. She whatabouted it, and blamed everyone else but herself. She doesn't understand that bad behaviour on twitter is usually rewarded with a ban.
People can actually report racists, insurrectionists and other classes of deplorables, and yes, sometimes report them as having an element of criminality so twitter could decide to get police involved. I will assume Parler had no such options.
The only thing Michelle Rempel works hard at, is being as hateful and childish as she can muster. If I ever find out which parliamentarians voted for her, they will be dead to me. I think she got her entire extremist party to vote for her like good little soldiers and that's...
...how she won the title of 'Hardest Working.' That title will now have no more value than the Order of Ontario.
She does realise that she can leave twitter, voluntarily, at any time, right? No one's keeping her here, and some of us would actually like for her to leave, because all she has to share are lies and conspiracy theories, and hate and anger.
Dear Ms. R-G:

Twitter doesn't have to CARE about free speech. It doesn't care about your First Amendment rights (btw... you realise you're Canadian, right? Stop slipping into your wishful thinking mode and hold tight to reality for a minute), and it certainly doesn't care...
...about my Charter rights of 'Freedom of Expression.' Why? Because twitter is NOT obligated to extend to you or me our constitutional rights. IT IS A PRIVATE PLATFORM. You either conform to THEIR rules set out in THEIR terms of service, or you're out! Simple as that!
Stop leading your ignorant followers to thinking they have rights on these platforms. When you enter into someone's PRIVATE home, do you expect to run the place? If you answer 'no,' then what makes you think that you can order twitter or any other platform what to do?
Are you a shareholder? An enforcement agency? A twitter board member? If not, then the only say you get on how twitter deals with people who use its platform, is through the virtual feedback box, if they choose to have one.
