The way these 20-somethings are in my mentions in their feelings because I told them that they got their innocence stripped from them too soon.

Imagine holding onto the fact that your parents + society neglected you with pride, rather than as a reason to hold yourself tenderly.
Folks are legit mad because I said that the feelings of responsibility you have towards others + the ability you’ve developed to meet challenges in your life is a consequence of survival necessity and not an innate part of your personality.
My dear friends, you deserved to be a child as long as you were a child. You deserved for the adults in your life to have take n responsibility for their choices and actions. You deserved to be held tenderly and told that you were the greatest thing that ever existed in the world
You deserved to be looked upon as the apple of someone’s eye. You deserved to be held in high regard with respect and love by your mother and father. You deserved to have the focus and attention of your caregivers while you were in a fragile and dependent state.

This basic human need is shamed out of us—pushed into the subconscious or unconscious. It drives us +our choices w/out our conscious consent. We seek this in our romantic relationships, or even with bosses and friends. And when we don't receive it??? https://twitter.com/PeoplesOracle/status/1349762994662760450?s=20
We only need to look at last week at the events that occurred at the US Capitol building to understand what can happen when we don't receive that love and validation.
