A veteran's perspective on a civil disruption: the thread.
People are saying the big W word and worrying it could happen. It won't happen because it cannot happen. this thread is purely my opinion.

While it is easy to stand outside a courthouse and even storm an understaffed capitol. Waging a prolonged fight is impossible for a militia. The majority of our armed forces are support battalions supporting combat battlions.
So when an American unit runs out of food, water, ammo, medical supplies, gasoline etc, thousands of other service members get it ready and shipped. A militia does not have that option.
In the event of a fight, Martial law would be called. An untrained person can fire off all of their ammo in minutes. Where do they resupply? If they get wounded, what hospital takes them?
Attrition is not a friend of Militia's because as a unit is overwhelmed or arrested they don't have reserve units marching forward. The worst fight they can bring will be quelled in hours. They will lack EVERYTHING they need to stay in the fight.
For these very real reasons, I have no serious concerns. People may get loud. One or two may cross a line. But the fabric of our society will hold, and Joe Biden will carry us forward.
