5 Things I’ve learned on Twitter.

Getting to 500 is a step in the journey, but nowhere near the end.

/// THREAD ///
1. Be Yourself

- Twitter is a great place to express yourself. Be authentic. It’s easy to tell who isn’t.
- We all have our own thoughts, opinions, etc. You never know what might help someone work through a problem.
- You can present yourself as anything you want... Be yourself.
2. Build Relationships

- You can get by just commenting “I agree” or “You’re right”, but those will not help in the long run.
- Many of those who I’ve interacted with since I’ve started I consider them all friends, and building those relationships is worth it all.
3. Focus on your Journey

- There will be accounts that skyrocket, and grow much quicker than you. Pay no attention to their followers. Study their habits, tweets, etc. Your journey is that… YOURS.
- Celebrate the little victories. Those will motivate you as you move forward.
4. Tweet Value

- If you’re tweeting high value tweets, your account will grow. It’s tried, tested, and proven.
- Money Twitter is a place where you can check in everyday, and learn something new. Be a part of the knowledge-share.
5. Enjoy the Process

- As said by @TheOldDogScott regarding marathons, “Don’t worry about the 26th mile… When you’re still on your first.”
- Don’t focus on what you want the result of your account to be. There will be days of great excitement, and days that are much quieter.
I can’t thank you all enough for joining along, and helping me get to this milestone.

The connections and interactions I’ve had here have made me a better and more educated person.

Now… Let’s keep growing, and getting better!
