Since the beginning of December up 2020 until this week (14th January 2021), we have lost around 49 Community Members, the majority of deaths have been COVID-19 related.

Luton’s COVID-19 positive case rate is 944 per 100,000 population and has been rising week on week.
We have one of the highest positive case rates in the East of England.
Our local Hospital is under significant pressure due to higher numbers of COVID-19 patients.

Families have been left devastated and traumatised with the loss of loved ones and not being able to be close to them during their final moments.
