They had a amazing ideas that work and are amazing! But everything else is so poorly made and it feels dead even before you finish the story

The team gimmick is amazing, the controls are amazing, the ost is amazing and you can customize your car! But it's so unpolished, just navigating through the fricking menu feels unpolished as heck but the online is the worst part which is my favorite thing about Mario Kart
The online sucks, it's impossible to find a match cause they didn't add something as simple as waiting for the race to end like mk, it's laggy as heck sometimes it's impossible to follow your teammates trails cause they're all messed up, the extra modes suck and no crossplay??
The fact that not many people were hyped cause they thought "eh, it's just transformed but without transformations didn't help either, im the end, this game feels like a glitchy waste of money to many people
It's sad because this game was not another case of unused potential, the potential is right there and it's good! But the game suffers from everything else, this is how to not make a great game
