Last year we asked 10 research teams to look at the evidence behind promising approaches to workplace mental health. Together with @wef we recently started sharing these findings and in Dec we heard from @KandolaAaron, @DoctorSandesh and @gooddayatwork about what they'd found.
We're really excited to be to sharing more findings from the commission later today, where we'll be hearing from @philip_osteen about flexible working, @IshtarGovia & @rochelleamour about mindfulness, @NYU_CREATE about peer support and @RANDEurope about financial wellbeing.
In the meantime, here's an overview of what we heard in our first session, including the evidence behind the benefits of breaking up excessive sitting with light activity, involving the workforce and peer support networks, and employee autonomy. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/sharing-evidence-what-works-when-comes-workplace-mental-rhea-newman/?trackingId=WY0lQvv3QnusB%2BUyWCxItA%3D%3D
