You know what struck me most yesterday? The almost complete lack of humility from Republicans. You would think 1/6 might have caused them to experience an epiphany (appropriately enough) when confronted with the ugliness they created. But no. 1/

Instead, they had the nerve to appropriate Joe Biden’s sincere rhetoric about unity, healing, and lowering the temperature of the country—which they scoffed at until now—to defend their political interests. 2/

They call themselves Christian, but practice no contrition. They call themselves patriots, but reject accountability for a seditionist. They call themselves the law-&-order, pro-life party, but spawned a terroristic death cult. Except for 10 brave members, they’re despicable. 3/3
