Seeing as militia/far-right activity on TikTok is getting some coverage, here’s some notes from our own work on this ⬇️

In early Dec, we spotted a recruitment/promotion trend encouraging III% supporters to place their area codes in the comments of videos which others could then like & connect with ppl in that area code.

Some videos had 50,000+ views and 2000+ comments before they were removed.

Lately, some in these communities believe the Insurrection Act has been activated by Pres Trump and that *something* is coming.

Many pro-Trump users have posted vids in support of this claim. TikTok's InsurrectionAct hashtag currently has 5.4m views

Important to note that the hashtag was used pre Jan 6, but since Tuesday alone, it's received 1.2m views - some recent vids have been viewed 250,000+ times
You may have seen this footage of military vehicles/personnel being used to support the claim that *something* is about to happen

Pretty sure it was first posted on TikTok early on Monday. Claimed to be Texas. Lots of "Insurrection Act" in the comments
