There are certain games in the fixture list I look forward to more than others, Arsenal away is one of them. Not going today hurts, although I suspect come 10pm tonight I’ll be thankful!

Oh Johny, Johny.....John Salako. It might have only been a league game in a season which we suffered relegation but for everyone of us stood in the Clock End it really did mean something. Get that up yer!

Worst game: Relegated at Highbury in ‘93.
Whilst Le Tissier did his best to keep us up by scoring a hattrick at Oldham, Palace turned in an inept performance losing 3-0 to seal relegation on 49 points. Down on goal difference (2 goals). Wright scored & kissed his badge.

My grandad worked at Arsenal until he died, with him & then with mates I’ve seen Arsenal 11 times play European games. 10 in this country at Highbury, Wembley & the Emirates, 1 at the Stadio Olimpico.
The last game was in 2019 vs Bate Borisov.

Sat in the very posh seats above the away end to witness Arsenal lose their first game at the Emirates. Rob Green turned in a world class performance. Fair to say the jellied eel munchers below loved it!

Palace stood back & admired Arsenal for 20 mins. Bad decision went against us, lost our rag & pressed them all over the place. Turns out they’re not world class when you hurry them!
