A few new truck based howitzers coming out of Russia at the moment. here the 2S35-1 Koalitsiya-SV-KSh. First seen in 2017, combines 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV 152 mm armament with a KAAMZ-6560 truck. Same automation as the tracked equivalent
Then theres the new 2S43 Malva, again a 152 mm howitzer (the 2A64 from the MSTA-S) on an 8x8 truck, this time BAZ-6010-027. Manually loaded rather than the fancy automation of Koalitsiya
In both cases they are intended to be alternatives leveraging wheels to be faster, lighter & more operationally mobile alternatives to 2S19/2S35 & other tracked howitzers. Obviosu drawbacks will be mobility in soft soils, and though cabs are armoured survivability will be limited
The US Army also looking at acquiring a wheeled howitzer through its 155 mm programme. Contenders include Archer, CAESAR, ATMOS 'Iron Sabre' and Nora-B52. The Brutus was discussed, but didnt see a contract award for the competitive shoot off later this year

Below are ATMOS, Alexsandr which is the new version of Nora-B52, and Brutus
Note in all cases its likely chosen solution would be integrated with existing Army FMTV or FHTV truck for commonality
