2020 was a big year in #PatientExperience. Quote of the year was @JuliaCumberlege saying that patient experience "must no longer be considered anecdotal and weighted least in the hierarchy of evidence-based medicine": http://pexlib.net/?223550
That's a fantastic call to action - but how do we move patient experience up the evidence hierarchy? We made a start in June 2020, inspired by this @HealthFdn report: ( http://pxlib.net/137 ) We hacked through the measurement maze to give…
… every NHS Trust in England "one-click" access to its key #PatientExperience datasets - all in one place, all up to date, and with key themes cross-referenced to aid learning ( https://www.patientlibrary.net/cgi-bin/library.cgi?page=Surveys ).

Our Patient Experience in England report ( http://pexlib.net/?226419 ) summarised a year's worth of learning from surveys and research. Thanks to the great @ShaunLintern for the foreword, and endorsement.
Our Inadmissible Evidence report ( http://pexlib.net/?227119 ) showed how a double standard in evidence-based practice persistently harms patients. With over 4,000 copies downloaded so far, it is clear that people care about this stuff.
The report was also picked up by the @MattersEngage podcast ( https://mattersofengagement.com/patient-experience-as-evidence-with-miles-sibley/)
and @bmj_latest ( https://blogs.bmj.com/bmj/2020/11/27/miles-sibley-we-need-to-change-the-hierarchy-of-evidence-based-medicine/ ).
Good to see serious commentators taking this on board.

We worked with @NVTweeting to reveal the pain & stress of delayed elective procedures ( http://pxlib.net/183 ), and with @ItsGroundswell on the experiences of people locked out of both housing & healthcare ( http://pexlib.net/?228077 ).
