Are we putting a price on Aussies health?

Please help.
We have already set up the infrastructure to distribute to nodes in each state with assurance of cold chain continuity. These vaccines are stable for a minimum of 5 days at 4C after that. Local infrastructure does not appear to be an issue. Nowhere in Aus is more than 5 days away
The Astra Zeneca first batch that is currently being prepared could be kept for ring vaccinations, or distributed via WHO. There would be no wastage as we have not physically produced millions of vaccines yet. As an OECD Tier 1 country, it would be our role to contribute.
First batch of AZ is only due to roll of production at the end of March. There is still time to attempt a better strategy for Aussies.
It will be a long time before the accidental dosing schedule of AZ is tested. This is not the vaccination schedule on offer, therefore Aussies will likely get the 62% protection of standard dosing.

We should consider carefully our choices again. We have better options.
