I was thinking of posting this as a #WhereInWaterford but it would be unfair. This is an old crossing point between #Faithlegg and #Woodlands over the pill. A bridge once stood here which was wide enough for carriages to cross. #Waterford 1/2
The bridge allowed connection to the big houses of Ballycanvan (TF Meagher lived here once) Faithlegg House and the Power family era dower house of same Woodlands. It was also a route to Cheekpoint, via the Oak Woods and the Marsh.
