treacherous doctor's mv meaning, my interpretation on why it could be their best mv in terms of storyline, a thread:
ok so obviously it starts with them waiting to see a therapist which later we know it's actually cole.
he starts with braeden and it seems like he's talking about a fear he has, we see this guy that looks like the dude from scrawny mv (i don't really know if it's intentional or not) but anyway he's forcing him to do something braeden doesn't want to
and then everything turns into water, the ocean, and at first i thought "oh this looks so pretty", it goes further than that, i can only compare this to the feeling u get when u get anxious, not being able to breath and wanting to escape when u just can't.
then we get to dylan singing his verse and we can see him on a rollercoaster, which is frightening, while opening multiple doors of what would seem are his fears and the lyric "all of my ideas turn to content, they can be conceived 'til they're read" plays in the back.
what is the relevancy behind this lyric and why i think it's basically the most important part of the mv? after that scene dylan gets into an infinite space and we can see cole in an organ AND then he looks like he's taking their ideas and putting them INTO the organ: the music.
they kinda morph after that and that literally represents the dynamic that happens between them, they get ideas and transform them to art, later we see the guys running and finding a fence that won't let them go, then the fence flips, turning to these kinda stairs and they can +
continue meaning you have to find the way to keep going, even when u feel like u can't, again, in this case i think it's the music.
finally we go back to the first set and i find this drawing so interesting, looks like the mv summary tbh but the one with dylan and braeden could represent how they're so similar and have been through so much together, that they can almost feel like the same person.
finally cole dies cause who wouldn't after hearing sm shit lol, the end. anyway support the mv! it's so well done and this kind of style takes a lot of time it deserves sm better 😭
