In the long term, only Edge benefitted because it, as part of Lita carrying him to finally being a legit main eventer. WWE damaged a decades-long partnership beyond repair. And Lita? She was traumatized to the point of quitting the business while enduring more abuse. (4/?)I
If you wanted to branch out more, you could include things like the tale of someone in the locker room displaying a fan drawing of A.J. Lee yelling "CALL ME LITA!" at CM Punk in bed, and how it was treated as a funny story as opposed to, y'know, blatant sexual harassment. (5/5)
