If u r thinking of making an OF to help pay the bills, pls remember that bc of the pandemic, there has been an influx of ppl going to OF, which means there is more supply and less demand. Also there is a possibility that u will lose other career opportunities from doing SW.

Losing opportunities should not happen, but sadly it does. Also, if you happen to do well at first and dedicate all ur time to SW, be warned that it might not last forever, and then u will have a gap in your resume that's hard to explain to employers w/o outing urself as a SWer

SW definitely does give u valuable skills (customer service, social media marketing, etc) but it's hard to prove that to employers w/o inadvertently outing urself. Please think of the downsides to OF and SW before diving into it. It's not just easy money.

This also applies to camming and any other sort of online SW. & even if you do succeed, it's a feast or famine job, so u gotta save for those rainy days. ALSO u have to put a lot away for taxes bc u r considered self-employed.
It's never been easy money, and now it's even harder.
