a girl takes nudes pictures of herself. she shares it with a small inside group of trusted friends. they all knew the gc was for her to share her pics. and then someone in the gc goes “omg she’s sexualizing herself” and posts it everywhere for other people to see. +

and people are suddenly bashing her for being so gross and lewd. “why would she share that? it’s her fault, she asked for it.” even though she was doing it in a safe space that she trusted. they broke her trust. but is she wrong for taking those pictures? +

apparently so. take this scenario and tweak it a bit. some artists made private accounts to share their nsfw artworks to only the ppl who wanted to see it. they have boundaries: no screenshots. no sharing it to outside people who don’t wanna see it. it was an explicit warning. +

anyone who followed only followed bc they knew what they were going in for. there’s no “accidentally finding their nsfw.” the artists were never hiding, they just put up the “private” status as a way to keep nsfw away from those who didn’t wanna see it. +

yet people followed it, knowing the contents and are now breaking boundaries by screenshotting and resharing the art. “exposing” these artists for being “nsfw accounts.” YOU followed THEM. u knew they were private to keep out ppl who didn’t want to see it yet u came anyways. +

and now you’re trying to have them cancelled. even though they made sure that no one who didn’t want to see it had to see it. so who is in the wrong? the person who drew some nsfw in a priv account? or the person who knew this and still tried to “expose” them? +

this isn’t for me but rather for the oomfs under fire for drawing nsfw. sex is not evil, sex is not disgusting. if you didn’t want to see it then why did you follow after they have made clear warnings? you knew it and yet you’re crying out, trying to cancel them. +

just learn how to block people. ppl are literally sending DEATH THREATS over nsfw art. stop fucking hurting my friends. the hypocrisy is NAUSEATING. ppl will read LITERAL smut but witch hunt nsfw artists. writing is also art so keep the energy if ur mad.

clarification: this is not to defend ppl who sexualize minors, ppl who support pedophilia, and actual fetishizers.
