I kind of wanted to touch up on this actually. I think the reason Bakugou knew about Izuku’s secret was because (remember in season 1 one Izuku himself was planning on telling him even before anyone else) plus Horikoshi was setting them up to be rivals and having Bakugou https://twitter.com/sofiakkuma/status/1349432811124617217
know about OFA was needed for his atonement arc and bonding with Deku. Which that made sense. I think the main reason Bakugou knew about Shouto’s story is because in the Endevaor Agency arc (being able to learn from Endeavor on how to make the lives of who he wronged better)
he needed to be inserted into the arc to get that perspective and use that to be able to atone for what he has done to Deku in his past. However as friends tho I see what you mean @sofiakkuma because the one time we got one on one interactions between them was RL arc
arc and we still haven’t seen anything that challenges Bakugou’s friendship with Todoroki (that’s why I tend to empathize especially if we are getting a big 3 route for the series) how important building Todorokis friendship with Bakugou would be. I mean to know something as big
as a traumatic childhood even confused me on why Bakugou needed to know. I mean in Deku’s case Shouto’s only been vulnerable with him and it made sense for him to open up about his past. With Bakugou the two of them haven’t build a stronger bond then just the usual bickering
and bantering dynamic that we normally see. But my only conclusion on having Bakugou be apart of it is to foreshadow tdbkdk being the new big 3.
