In yesterday's thread on Lakshmana, there was a point on the anger of Lakshmana i.e. Adi Sesha avatara. In Dwapara, even Balarama was famous for his anger.

1. Dragging Hastinapura to Ganga
This incident is captured in Srimad Bhagwatham Skanda 10, Chapter 68.
Samba, Krishna's son from Jambhavati, tries to abduct Lakshmaanaa, Duryodhana's daughter. The Kuru army surround him and engages in a battle.

Alarmed at the turn of events, the Kuru family meet Balarama apologize & sought his protection / mercy.
Pleased with their request, Balarama calmed down. Duryodhana got his daughter Lakshmanaa married to Samba in a very grand manner & gave away many gifts.

2. Balarama and Yamuna
Once Balarama grew nostalgic about Vrindavan and immediately sets off to his childhood home. There he meets all Gopis who are of course, waiting for their Krishna.
After meeting all of them, he went and had his favorite drink, Varuni.

This drink made a bit intoxicated. He appeared like a Wild Elephant when he was wandering around.
Now he decides to have a bath and orders Yamuna to come to the spot where he stood.

Balarama immediately gets angry and says, "You are arrogant & deserve to be punished. I will split you into 1000s of rivulets & see that you don't exist any more"
