170 touches, 795 yards, 4.7 YPC, 11 TDs, 36 catches, 247 yards

The crazy fact is, he only had a 37% snap share and while that number should rise, he’s been incredibly efficient when given the ball. He saw his touches slowly rise and his yards and TDs followed. He’s got a real chance of becoming a premier back in WAS.
He was tied 6th in TDs, 20th in yards, and 18th in YPC. He was dynamic when given the opportunities and did all of this with a snap % lower than Johnathon Taylor, Chris Carson, and Melvin Gordon.
Now with McKissic entering a contact year, I expect Gibson to play almost a similar style role with additional rushing touches. In an offense that started to gel towards the end of the year, he could continue to put up big numbers on a less than average snap %.
I think Washington will take another year to fully groom Gibson into that sole 3 down back, and once that happens it could be lightning in a bottle. I expect Gibson to finish anywhere between RB8-RB16 next year, but is quickly becoming one of the best buys for non contenders.
His 2022 season will be larger than his 2021, and I wouldn’t ride with him as my RB1 this year. He’s a solid RB2, but has sky high potential once McKissic’s deal is up. He’s been one of my favorite players to watch, and is becoming a RB1 right before our eyes.

Ron Rivera has done an excellent job in Washington so far, and he’s got big plans for Gibson in the near future. He’s climbing my dynasty rankings, and I advise you do the same before it’s too late.
