A Thread of Rules and Guidelines on the Do's and Don't for Epictwt, coming from Ex-SMPtwt:

Don’t sexualize CCs if they haven’t explicitly said they’re okay with it. (If you don’t know, either ask or don’t do it at all)

If you’re going to sexualize CCs, at least keep it away from the rest of the community. (We don’t want to see that shit man)

Do not draw or write about gorey things involving/happening to CCs and/or their family unless they’ve given permission. (You do NOT want an SMPRonpa situation to happen again like that)

When some sort of drama happens with a CC, make sure you look at the context of what caused..

the calamity before going off based on what someone said on Twitter. (Often times these issues arise from clips being taken out of context or words being twisted, watch out.)

If a CC gets doxxed, do not make a big deal out of it as that will only bring attention to it. (If you..

want to help out just report the account and go on your way.)

Do not ask CCs to call or play with other CCs. (CCs are their own people, not another way for you to watch your favorite white boy. Be respectful.)

Do not donate or chat about triggering issues or drama unless it...

is being discussed and chat is permitted to do so. (CCs are not your therapists, stop that. And not every CC wants to hear about whatever drama that is going on)

Please be respectful of CCs who do not want people to have their face as other peoples profile pictures. If you...

If you see someone with a profile picture of somebody who has expressed they don’t want that then kindly DM or @ them and tell them about it. (If they choose not to listen then that is very much their issue)

Do not ship CCs if they...

have expressed opinions against it or you are unsure of their thoughts. Again, you can always ask them if you don’t know. (Also keep this stuff away from the rest of the community. Again, not everyone wants to see that.)

Do not speak for or over CCs about issues related to them.

They can speak for themselves and do need somebody else to do so for them.

Always be mindful of CCs boundaries. I cannot reiterated this enough. Ask if you are unsure. This will help with avoiding any issues in the future.

Do not worship or treat CCs as superior. They are...

human just like we are and are not immune to making mistakes or displaying emotions outside of happiness. Hold them to the same standard you hold everyone else to.

Do not create confession accounts. Please, it will ONLY end terribly and get progressively worse and worse.

Keep in mind that some CCs do not want fan made merch of them to be sold. Be respectful and understanding please.

No shrines. Please. Don’t print out a bunch of random pictures of CCs and tape them to your walls an basically create a shrine out of them. (It’s just weird)

Parody Accounts: Not only do some CCs not like parody accounts of themselves but also if a parody account likes an artists post it could generally just be disappointing even if said CC doesn’t mind parodies, so keep that in mind. some CCs don’t like people pretending to be...
