I grew up in a house where politics were discussed at the dinner table.
One parent in public service and one in oil and gas - we had an interesting perspective. We lived the rollercoaster that is a boom and bust economy.

I was a proud Albertan and Calgarian.
I ventured east for medical school and teared up when Peter Lougheed handed me my MD (he was Chancellor at Queen’s University)
I had the opportunity to bring my skills back to Calgary and raise my family in my hometown.

I have voted across the political spectrum.
No single party, provincial nor federal, ticks off all the boxes for me.
One this is for sure though - the UCP are the worst governing party in my lifetime.

I can’t be the only one.
Are you also an Albertan who doesn’t recognize our province through the eyes of the UCP?
Kenny and company bulldoze through ideologies without consultation: health, education, environment, transportation.
How do we survive the next 2 years?

Thanks for listening to my post-call rant.
