this is because our hair and nails are expressions of our soul. if our hair/nails are longer (more yin), we are more receptive and susceptible to the energies of others. this can cause great distress within individuals who are not able to handle the energies of others.
the shorter (more yang) our hair and nails are, the less susceptible and more closed off our energies are to others. in my culture, one has the utmost respect if they have long nails (especially on their pinky finger) because it is widely understood the spiritual power it holds.
this is why so many individuals gravitate towards cutting their hair and wearing short nails when they are having “mental breakdowns”. it is literally a release of energy. here are some vishakha women’s nails below:
the act of lightening and bleaching one’s hair is a remedy for these natives. this due to the fact jupiter (the planetary ruler of vishakha) is said to be remedied by adorning yourself with yellow, as jupiter is the planetary ruler of jupiter. this can also cause feelings
of happiness and joy for these natives! this is why we see so many jupitarian natives as natural blondes, having blonde highlights, or looking amazing in a blonde wig (i.e. vishakha native rupaul’s famous blonde wig). i find this process to be similar to the
eyeliner armor of magha. anyways, their makeup is very minimal on the skin. their skin is typically left bare and they seem to only gravitate towards yellow-undertone, dewy highlighters; warm, pink blushes; and yellowy/tan bronzers.
they do not experiment with the lips and prefer nude lipliners and lipstick shades. rather they prefer to experiment with their large, ether eyes and try all forms of graphic makeup. such as 60s makeup, smoky eyeshadows, glossy eyes, and black glitter “NYE” type of looks.
they are truly willing to experiment with just about any eye look (at least once).

like all saturn natives, anuradhas have very ethereal and alien like features (making them the perfect candidates for modeling). they typically have high cheekbones, prominent jawlines, spaced out eyes, and more compressed lips.
because anuradha is symbolized by the rabbit yoni, they also tend to have apple-y and round cheeks. they love to accentuate their cool-to-neutral undertone with cool contouring along the inner part of the cheekbones and upwards along the temporal bones (their temples).

as, from my personal experience and observations of others, individuals under the rulership of shani, naturally tend to look older in their youth and (with time) younger for their age.
