If you are hungry or need help getting enough food for yourself or your family, please take advantage of the local food pantry in your community. Many people have had financial difficulties at some point in their lives. You are not alone. 1/5
You may have never considered going to a food pantry before, or think that it isn't for somebody like you. But these are unusual times, so whatever your situation, if you are not able to buy the groceries that you need, please don't feel bad about asking for help. 2/5
Food pantries are often able to be flexible to help whoever needs help, whether it be temporary layoffs, decreased income from your small business, supporting additional family members, etc. 3/5
Some food pantries may be able to offer delivery if you have Covid, are quarantining, or are unable to leave home for other health reasons. Generally food pantries do not ask about your immigration status, but check with them ahead of time if you have concerns. 4/5
There is unfortunately not a website that lists all the food pantries in the U.S., so you'll need to do a web search to find the one in your community. There may be other local resources available to you as well that you can find by searching online. 5/5
