The @ADL is allegedly taking screenshots of threats on Gab and running to the press saying "gotcha." They should immediately be flagging these posts so that our moderation team can take action. Not doing so, and instead running to the press, is grossly irresponsible.
As we have been warning for WEEKS now, there is an ongoing PSYOP campaign to plant newly created accounts on Gab making threats of violence. We have warned our community of this and the general public since early December.
Gab is not Twitter. We do not have thousands of employees and billions of dollars in capital. We are rapidly scaling our moderation team to meet the demand of millions of people joining our community this week.
I can find plenty of threats of violence from verified accounts on Twitter right now. The ADL doesn't care about that. They care about destroying Gab by any means necessary for the simple reason that they cannot control us like they do Silicon Valley.
The ADL will never control us. They will never stop us. We will do whatever it takes to exist on the internet and defend free speech for millions of people around the world. Period.
