"How important is science communication experience for conservation NGO jobs?" asks @CSEE_SCEE audience member.

@jessieleecurrie @JB_Grimm @hannah_mcca agree that #SciComm skills are very important, although the amount of time that different ENGO staff spend on it might vary.
Other suggestions include:

* Tailor your application (resume & cover letter), don't send out one-size-fits-all missives...
* Keep in touch with your references. If you get an interview & references might get called, make sure that they understand why you want THAT job.
"I am really pumped about the next 10 years in conservation," says webinar host @NCC_scientist. "We need more people who can find & share solutions, [more diverse thinking and approaches]. We need more people like you."

A few Qs along the lines of "What #conservation NGOs are out there?"

Lots! Search internet, ask friends & family, pay attention to news (esp local/regional). Conference proceedings can help but most ENGO staff don't do research per se. Broad ENGO networks have members too, e.g.,
