This is accurate. There's a reason that other than George W. Bush, who lost the popular vote the first time and barely won it in 2004, the only Republican in more than 30 years to win the popular vote was Hollywood's Reagan. None of these pretenders has a prayer without Trump's fame to bask in. They are forgettable back-bench punchlines who when he's gone, will be even bigger punchlines. The patricians will purge them to regain support from donors and the Romney wing will make war on them and win.
In the meantime, we're in for an American right wing insurgency and a Republican civil war. It won't be pretty.
