I miss going into bookshops where a beautiful book cover will make me stray from my intended path.

So... to fill that void, here are some book covers of JANUARY 2021 releases I would DEFINITELY lift off the shelf in a bookshop! Welcome to my virtual bookshop tour.
Starting with @hafsahfaizal's We Free the Stars atmospheric and dreamy cover!

@isabelallende's Kingdom of the Golden Dragon speaks to my classical fantasy soul!

The stone-cold look of @alexbracken's Lore makes me feel compelled to lift it up and take it home (see the eye!?)
I initially thought @StinaLeicht's Persephone Station was a graphic novel?? Cover promises a kick-ass story!

If I hadn't been sold on the first, @DevinMadson's We Lie With Death cover would convince me!

The haunting cover of @gamwyn's The Heartless Wood immediately grabbed me!
I love gold on covers, and the tag-line of @ma_carrick's The Mask of Murder..! Impossible not to grab.

@ockaur's The Rise of the Red Hand promises the exact kind of Sci-fi I've been craving!

@kristincashore's Winterkeep cover might push me over the edge to buy the whole series!
@Nnedi's Remote Control looks like the kind of book I'd mourn for weeks after finishing!

And @hannah_m_long's Hall of Smoke! Who can say no to a girl with an axe??

I also adore covers like @officialnhaynes's A Thousand Ships where see new details every time I look (& more gold)
@bb_alston's Amari is a perfect example of why I end up wandering into the middle-grade section. SUCH a beautiful cover!

@gordonkorman's Unplugged truly makes me want to unplug!

While @malindalo Last Night at the Telegraph Club makes me stare from across the shop.
VoilĂ  That's my virtual bookshop tour. JANUARY RELEASES with covers that would 100% make me pick them up in a store.

What are your favourite covers for 2021 January releases? And were you tempted, like me, by the beautiful covers above?
Looking at Feb 2021 releases to make a new version of this thread, but first... I HAVE to add these three covers from January!

They may actually be my fav covers from among all the January releases. 🙊
@adrianlselby's Brother Red gives such an intriguing mood and I love the art style.

The dreamy cover of @dkfields1's the Stitcher and the Mute is one I'd look at for a long time.

Finally, I adore the colours of @JohnsonJoshuaP's The Forever Sea, plus that ship in the distance!
