So... I'm seeing libs try to use the Star Wars prequels to explain Jan 6th. For those who don't know, I'm a huge fucking star wars nerd.

The story of the prequels is one that shows how the "centrists" continually grant more and more power to the far right in order to protect us
The story starts out with the Trade Federation blockading Naboo. The Trade Federation is not a planetary system, it is literally intergalactic Amazon. The Trade Federation, Techno Union, and Banking Clans have all been given their own seats on the galactic senate to represent
their own interests. This is shown in the films and Clone Wars tv series, but it isn't adequately explained except for in the tenuously canon book "Plagueis". In Plagueis we meet and follow the events from Palpatine's master becoming the dark lord of the sith up to Palpatine
killing him, which happens after they name him Chancellor in The Phantom Menace. During this story we learn that Plagueis had Palpatine on the senate to influence these types of policy decisions. They held lavish parties where influential people around the galaxy would come and
they'd trade secrets and make alliances all while also doing something that is illegal but they're all too rich for it to matter (very Epstein tbh). They rose Vallorum to the chancellorship on nepotism (his father had held the position too) and they took him down.
They also arranged the political capital to make the senate agree to let these very large corporate entities represent themselves on the senate. This led to the entire set of events.

In our real world this isn't necessary, the politicians are in their pockets anyway. But they
would absolutely do that if they felt like they had to... See Trump himself, or Nigel Farage in the UK for examples of capitalists taking matters into their own hands.

So, from the beginning, we see a crisis manufactured by the far right being exploited to raise a politician
