Yesterday marked the start of the new session of the #TXLege which means we'll be on the look out to protect and expand policies that benefit young people in our state

We believe that the voices of young Texans must be heard at the capitol, in city halls, and at the ballot box.We support policies that make it easier for people to participate in our democracy and we'll fight like hell to oppose restrictions that target young people of color
It's time to take action on the climate crisis. We are the largest emitter of greenhouse gases in the country but a new normal is possible. We support policies that move us towards 100% sustainable and renewable energy while guaranteeing living-wage jobs for everyone!
The criminal legal system has failed generations of Texans and is deeply rooted in the racist structures it was born out of.We will dismantle it by advancing policies that decriminalize poverty & shift resources away from prisons & police to our communities instead.
This year, the #TXege will redraw our political maps and determine the next 10 years of power. We know that, without transparency, politicians will draw maps to benefit themselves and undermine democracy. We'll make sure the voice of young Texans are heard in this process.
