How Colorado "went blue" but sent reps like Lauren Boebert, Ken Buck and Doug Lamborn.

A thread...
Colorado is big — #8 in size — with 7 congressional districts:

1) Denver metro - VERY BLUE
2) Boulder metro - VERY BLUE
3) Rural west slope - VERY RED
4) Rural eastern plains - VERY RED
5) Colorado Springs metro - VERY RED
6) Aurora metro - TRENDS BLUE
7) Jeff co - TRENDS BLUE
As a state, the most dense populations are generally in blue districts (Denver metro etc.). This means our statewide offices tip blue — esp. after Trump — but by district we are a true reflection of the nation's divide with the most liberal & most conservative regions in the U.S.
For example, Colorado sent reps like Jason Crow (6), Joe Neguse (2), Ed Perlmutter (7) & Diana Degette (1) — all fighting against sedition & for impeachment.

Colorado also sent Reps. Lauren Boebert (3), Ken Buck (4) & Doug Lamborn (5) — all acted in sedition of insurrection.
This is best seen in 2020 elections, where Colorado gave former Trump-supporting Sen. Cory Gardner the boot (statewide election = blue for @Hickenlooper) while extremists Boebert, Buck & Lamborn were elected in smaller, rural districts — they don't represent the state at large.
As in much of America, we have work to do. Steps you can take to help shift Colorado away from extremists:

1) Volunteer for CO anti-seditionist candidates & donate!
2) Encourage ppl you know here to vote anti-sedition!
3) Pressure YOUR House reps to expel our seditionists!

TY!
