The Jersey City council will vote tonight - for the second time - to award an emergency contract to a suspect company that will be charged with administering COVID-19 vaccinations to City residents (1/

(3/) In its proposal to the City, Bespoke states that it has “been operating since the outset of the pandemic” and “helped test over 400,000 individuals” for COVID.

(8/) It is astonishing that with so much on the line - i.e., the most important rollout of a vaccine we will see in our lifetimes - these are the two companies the City believes are best suited to get the job done.

(9/) I sincerely hope there’s a fact I’m missing but this is too important to not say anything. Jersey City residents deserve the best services from the most qualified vendors especially when it comes to something as critical as COVID vaccinations.
