And action? Oh, there's action alright! Cutlasses, rifles, knives, hard-shoving … it's all in there. We've pulled zero punches.
There's even a bit when a guy is shot, tumbles from the ship's rigging into the sea and then rises to the surface in a lather of foam and blood … fun, right?
There's design action too – a daring near-black spread, when young Jim's makeshift boat is sent spinning across the waves and an edgy turn-around spread to make space for a very tall tree
