Do you think the Brok & Sindri will betray Kratos and Atreus? I certainly hope not, but the brothers are traditionally responsible for crafting the chain that binds Fenrir. It's not out of the realm of possibility that they do betray us, or perhaps accidentally betray us. 1/8
They could perhaps be tricked into forging Fenrir's chain? Unaware of what it'll be used for. (Oh, and before we go any further, If you're new to my fan theories I predict Atreus/Loki is also Fenrir in this story.)
It will be terrible regardless of the case... 2/8

Atreus tied up and held captive by Odin. The sting of Atreus knowing or thinking that his 2 friends helped play a part in his binding. Or, heck, Brok & Sindri's feelings. Coming to terms with the fact that yet another one of their creations was used in such a horrible way.

What a mess this will be. Gosh, I don't look forward to any of it.
Poor Atreus... ensnared by that unbreakable chain. Just like...

Woah, so, stay with me on this. Maybe Brok and Sindri don't have ANYTHING to do with creating the chain that binds Fenrir.
Because in this story, we already have an unbreakable chain. The Blades of Chaos.
Oh, this can work, this is perfect! Well, I mean, not for Atreus. 5/8

But for the narrative, it works great! Kratos made a big deal to Brok how the blades will NEVER be a family heirloom. He doesn't want Atreus anywhere near them. That scene played out like a typical "Chekhov's Gun" moment. (Don't mention 'blank' unless 'blank' will happen) 6/8
Many people have predicted that Atreus will wield his father's Blades. Be it momentarily for a single boss fight or an entire game with him as the protagonist. That's nothing new.
But I'm curious if him trying to use his father's weapons will end up backfiring on him? 7/8

Triggering the events that lead up to his imprisonment. After all, it was Tyr who gave Fenrir the chains in traditional Norse Mythology
Tyr, you know, the God of War.

Doh, I probably shouldâve made this point a little more clear. Sorry, I was rushing to get this posted during my babyâs nap time.
