At the #PSLDraft held recently, the PSL teams announced their picks in the emerging category.

While a few of them are resuming from #PSL5, some are new to PSL, while some are making a comeback.

We take a look at these players and what led to their selection for #PSL6!
Shahnawaz Dhani – @MultanSultans – 22-year-old fast-bowler from Larkana.

Tall and clocked at ~140kph, the pacer impressed in #QeA20. He was the 5th-highest wicket-taker (pacers) with 26 wkts @ 31.

The seamer idolizes Shane Bond and has a fiery attitude!
Mohammad Umar – @MultanSultans – 21-year-old fast-bowler from Karachi.

The youngster bowls at good pace & moves the ball. He played 2 matches in #QeA20, picking up 6 wickets.

Currently playing in #PakistanCup, he has 9 wkts (3 games) @ 15.5 for Sindh.
Qasim Akram – @KarachiKingsARY – 18-year-old all-rounder from Lahore.

A stylish batsman who bowls off-spin, the youngster impressed in #QeA20.

He made 389 runs @ 35 in #QeA20 with 3 fifties (one in the final). Additionally, he took 13 wickets @ 35.
Zaid Alam – @lahoreqalandars – 21-year-old batsman from Lahore. Played in U19 World Cup (2018).

Despite some inconsistent performances, he has a reputation for being a six-hitter. In an innings in the 2nd XI #QeA20, he made 112 for Northern with 8 sixes.
Ahmed Danyal – @lahoreqalandars – 22-year-old fast-bowler from Lahore. Previously played tape-ball cricket.

He will be hoping to become a household name by performing in #PSL6, as the likes of Dilbar Hussain and Haris Rauf did in previous seasons of PSL.
Abrar Ahmed – @PeshawarZalmi – 22-year-old spinner from Karachi. Returns to PSL after representing KK in 2017.

Picked up 57 wkts in #QeA20 2nd XI at a stunning average of 11.75.

He idolizes Shahid Afridi & enjoys watching the likes of Sunil Narine bowl.
Mohammad Imran – @PeshawarZalmi – 19-year-old left-arm pacer from Swat.

The youngster impressed for KP this season in domestic cricket.

Saim Ayub – @TeamQuetta – 18-year-old batsman from Karachi.

He hit 161* for 🇵🇰 U16s in 🇦🇺 in 2018. He impressed for Sindh in 2020 at the U19 stage.

National U19 1-Day 2020: 324 runs @ 32.4 (6th highest)
National U19 3-Day 2020: 454 runs @ 64.9 (highest)
Mohammad Wasim jr – @IsbUnited – 19-year-old fast-bowler from North Waziristan.

Pacy and hard-hitting, what's not to like? He represented 🇵🇰 in the U19 World Cup.

He impressed in #QeA20 (14 wkts @ 21), where Abdul Razzaq said he was the fastest bowler.
