A few thoughts.
Just to start us off.

Astronauts are the best tag team in the world right now.

KAI is the best member of R.E.D.

Dragon Gates entire roster has been entertaining.

Probably was the promotion of the year last year.

Pushing young stars is a good thing

Go Shiozaki Vs Kaito Kiyomiya was match of the year last year.

Go Shiozaki's title defences last year were great.

Except for one

Kazuyuki Fujita

Maybe you had to watch it live

I dunno

Yuya Aoki is brilliant and everyone should be watching him.

Him Vs Abe last year made me a fan

I don't watch enough Joshi other than stardom.

That will change this year

I preferred Mayu Iwatani Vs Takumi Iroha 2 over the first.

Am I alone in this

Natsuko Tora did nothing last year but ruin matches

Konosuke Takeshita Vs akito from the D Oh tournament was the worst match of any tournament by any promotion last year

Mm maybe

Omega Vs Fenix was just good.
Not great, not amazing, not 5 stars, not the best TV match ever.

Just good.

It's seems I'm completely bored of both of there schtick

I'd prefer to watch Astronauts Vs Twin Towers over any Young Bucks match of last year. Including the revolution tag, and especially the FTR tag.

Daichi Hashimoto had a really good run with the strong title. Every match was solid.

Mostly every English speaking commentary team sucks.

Puts me off watching anything that isn't Japanese.

The only 2 exceptions maybe are Don Callis and Kevin Kelly.

Everybody else is awful

A match I've tried on multiple occasions to get in to because everyone tells me it's great.

A solid, even good match in parts.
But...
