Another Fun Fact: Roughly 90% of the people who say "I hadn’t done anything wrong" have definitely done something very wrong.

NEVER - and I can't stress this enough - NEVER trust anyone who makes positive declarative statements about their own behavior. https://twitter.com/dawsonbuchanan_/status/1349175844091039746
People who TRULY haven't done anything wrong never say so. They ask, "What did I do wrong?" or words to that effect.

They allow for the POSSIBILITY of personal fault, even if they severely doubt it.

Because they intrinsically know that we are all TERRIBLE judges of ourselves.
Have the decency to apply at least a little self-doubt, people. No one likes overconfident egotistical pricks who think the sun shines out their own ass.
