Ibrahim Konate is 21 years old and is playing at Leipzig. In this thread I will give reasons why Ibrahim Konate is extremely underrated and is been slept on by clubs around Europe. Imo Man Utd should turn there attention away from upamecano and try and sign Konate.
Ibrahim Konate has the same attributes as upamecano, he’s quick, good at tackling, very brave and is very good in the air. Ibrahim Konate reminds me of a bit of a Eric Bailly which is the type of CB we need to complement Harry Maguire.
Konate is very good on the ball and is very good when passing out from the back. Konate is overshadowed by the hype for Upamecano when realistically Ibrahim Konate is arguably better. Konate would probably also cost less than Upamecano and saying he others the same if not more.
Konate is Ariel Ability shouldn’t go unnoticed aswell with him being tall he’s very good in the air. In my opinion Ibrahim Konate would be a better signing that Upamecano would be and would suit Maguire better aswell because have to CB who are amazing in the air is very important
In My Opinion Manchester United should turn there attention to Ibrahim Konate and let other clubs go for Upamecano because he’s likely to go to Bayern or Chelsea anyways. Konate would be a quick deal to do and would let us get on with the summer window quicker.
