I have so much respect for the Pitt Rivers Beyond the Binary team. Also I am struggling to understand how this museum can be "queered" or made at all queer-friendly amid such a horrifying physical environment. #QHCN2021

I was shocked to find out this museum is still collecting. To me, breaking the seal of the time capsule betrays that it does exist in contemporary times, and therefore *very* difficult to excuse the current display. #QHCN2021

Appreciate the panelists' question "is queering the same as decolonizing?" They tied cisheteronormativity to colonization. To me, this suggests decolonization would be inherently queer and perhaps would be a better place to begin this work? #QHCN2021
