I understand there is a pandemic going on and a bubble is necessary to ensure a tour can go off without a hitch. But some civility and understanding when complaints are made about the quarantining situation would not be remiss when really, the touring party is doing you a favour.

India could’ve said let’s postpone the tour. That would’ve crushed the CA financially. Easy choice for India. Formula One did it. Pushed the GP all the way to November. That wouldn’t have worked for Cricket Australia. 7 would have raked them over coals.

Again, I’m not saying India should withdraw, and to their credit, despite the long injury sheet, we haven’t heard any inkling that they want to pack up and go home. But the next time Alyssa Healy or Trent Copeland want to make a snarky comment, they may want to think twice.

I don’t think they’ve fully absorbed or understood who is doing what favour that is enabling the payment of who’s salary.
