White nationalist forces, w misogyny equal to their racism, essentially destroyed Hillary Clinton for championing equality. They tried to destroy Biden for the same reason, but it wasn't successful. So now they are trying to undo by force what they couldn't undo politically.

This time is diff bc the whole country & entire world see what Blk folks & others have long sounded the clarion call abt--the violent fascism that supremacist ideologues will unleash to fight democratic progress. No one is safe. They are willing to kill whoever stands in the way.

Their factions are broad and deep and include theocrats in the mix. Alarms went off in my head when Betsy DeVos was installed as Secty of Education (I was working in ed advocacy at the time). She's part of the Council for National Policy w their undemocratic vision for America.

A shared vision w her bro Erik Prince, who wants to shape our military. Those two at the highest levels of influence in shaping two pivotal institutions--education and warfare--with control of the levers that control the enrollees, would shape a very undemocratic future.

The demonization of liberals--literal demonization in the minds of true believers--has had its desired effect and led to where we find ourselves. How easy it becomes to slaughter people who you have been propagandized to believe are the actual embodiment of satan on Earth.

Words of division and hatred are of consequence. Spoken repeatedly, they manifest in the real world in actions. We can no longer ignore the media ecosystem of hate and hate speech. Its powerful influence has to be acknowledged and countered, but that's just the beginning.
