There was a gap of 4-6 months between the acute phase & the PV phase when #LongCovid were I think still actively viral. We needed anti-viral treatment, as with any serious, multi-system virus (eg SARS, sepsis, HIV). But we didn’t receive any treatment. Imagine getting HIV, sepsis, hepatitis and being told ‘that must be very worrying for you’ by the GP & sent home without a treatment/care plan. That’s what happened to #LongCovid. Because our lungs were slightly stronger not to need critical care, they left us without treatment.

Fine leave us to cope without treatment in the Spring - it was a crisis, nobody knew (except for all the patient testimonies of course) but then also to leave us without a treatment for a then-known multi-system virus across the lull of Summer and Autumn. It’s a national scandal.

So here I am, in Month 11 of #LongCovid. Unable to walk >3000 steps (1/3 of my pre- #Covid19 norm) without heart pain. Unable to breathe if the air’s cold. Unable to drink water without choking. Will I excavate again? Just more of @BorisJohnson’s collateral damage. #CountLongCovid

As we head for 100,000 dead citizens. The same number disabled? We don’t even know. Our most vulnerable kids starving, jobs lost, as Tories trouser millions. All because Boris skived *five* COBR meetings. And the British, we just accept it. Any dent in voting intention? Barely.

This country makes me sick. And disabled.
