I have asked Aileen to check one aspect of the first case, since there is an inaccuracy which may be due to misunderstanding of the state pension age changes for women. But I do not question the real experience of the woman concerned.
A theme running through all three cases is the appalling impact of the bedroom tax. The tax assumes that people can always move to smaller accommodation, so failure to do so is wilful. But in many cases, smaller accommodation is not available.
The fact that women who suffer domestic abuse are thrown into poverty by the bedroom tax is a total injustice which must be ended.
