So....

...I wrestled with this for a while.

My business @WhamWorld received a touch over £150,000 from the government furlough scheme.

Turned out we didn’t need it after the initial lockdown.

Thought about paying it back but have been reluctant for 3 reasons:

1. Our competitors won’t.

2. We’ll be paying that and more back over the long run in tax.

3. No point paying it back for it to be wasted.

So we will increase it to £250,000 and donate it to our Wham foundation.

Immediate cash is available via this route, for food banks...

...and value for money voluntary groups that look after and feed the people of Burnley and Hyndburn.
