You may not have noticed, but the central principle of the Universe is the "Survival of the fittest".
The Universe isn't emotional.
It doesn't make decisions based on your feelings, moods or desires, but your commitment to riding the waves & making the most of what it provides...

On the contrary, there are various institutions around us that teach humans to wait on miracles, trusting that they will find favours and hoping for the best, while doing little or nothing to that effect...
In fact, phrases in the Bible like,
"salvation is of the Lord",
"wait upon the Lord",
"the arm of flesh may fail you", and
"without me, you can do nothing", practically paralyzes the believing mind, who, not knowing this, limits his or her thoughts to what he or she thinks is...

...God's leading, to either act or wait over issues he or she can and should act upon.
No single animal on the planet waits on a God to LIVE. They do what they can, and have to, just to survive and protect their lives and those of their loved ones...

But for the captured mind, who's under submission to religious principles of a God's leading, even when Boko Haram and Herdsmen kill and sack whole villages, they'll rather pray and wait for a miracle, or a certain divine intervention,...
...than the simple response of defence and attacks on their enemies.
They'll say, "God's will is the best", but for this snake that's directly under threat, the hawk has no mercy, and so do these murderers in the North. Yes, it may die, but that'll not be without a fight...

If you're not fighting to survive, you're easy prey to your enemies, and what other easy means is there to conquer a nation, than to tell them that their God will destroy them in hell, if they fight and defend themselves, their lands and the lives of their loved ones?...
So, this morning,
WAKE UP hungry for life.
Wake up with the determination of getting the best things you deserve.
GET UP from the beds of complacency and hopes on miracles...

No God saves, will and can save anyone. Otherwise, you wouldn't have to even shout and pray to an All-wise, Omnipresent, Omniscient and an Omnipotent God to save you.
That'll be ridiculous for such a powerful being to be there, and you'll be asking him to save you...

DRESS UP for work, ready to do that which only you can. Be prepared for the day's challenge and give it your very best.
GRIND until you're spent.
Give your all, knowing that you have the power to make a difference, and your powers aren't there for the looks...

You have them because the universe trusts you'll deliver. So, deliver to the day, releasing all there is for the day...
And when you're done, you can look back and say, "I gave my all", and whether you win or lose to the hawks of life doesn't change the fact the you were true to yourself, a warrior who fought to the death.
